- Ok, this and VPC were the most unfamiliar of the AWS services but Route53 easily beats out VPC for remaining the most mysterious even after multiple attempts to gain a foothold.
- Fortunately, AWS does a good job of providing you with the entries needed to configure DNS.
- Often it is a matter of copying and pasting values into Route53, values that often seem meaningless but work "automagically" once they are in place.
- The upside is that modifications to DNS entries are few and far between.
- Also, it is super easy to buy a domain using Route53.
